the first part of my space, i am planning to block the whole up and have the space dark, i might possible use the halogen spotlights that were left over form last years show to highlight bits of the sculptures or installation i put in.
the second part of my space opposite the one above, i have to consider the problems of not being able to paint the socket and the cable trunking.
i decided to paint the space black, at first i was only going to paint the walls, nut in the end i decided to paint the ceiling as well, i did consider painting the floor black as well but decided against it. as i felt people would walk on it and the black paint marks very easily and clean line and surfaces are key to my work.
